What do I have to do to set up Clubtext with membership/customer data?
You can choose to upload all your data at once using the "Import Data" function. This requires you to collect all data needed in a spreadsheet (Excel etc.) prior to upload. Templates are available for download within clubtext in order to assist you in collecting the data in the correct format for upload. Member/Customer information can be entered one by one through the "Member Details" function also.
Can I assign my members/customers to specific groupings?
Yes. Clubtext is designed to let you segregate members into as many groupings as required. When sending messages you can select members from a singular group or multiple groups.
Can I provide access to other people within my organisation?
Yes. Your Clubtext account will have one main user known as the administrator. This user is set up during subscription. The administrator can in turn set up unlimited sub users known as "Managers". A Manager will be able to Send Messages to certain groups that he/she is assigned to. This allows your organisation to spread and control the workload if you so wish.
Example 1: Football Club
The administrator can set up a manager for each team within his/her club. The manager can be assigned to multiple teams but can only send messages to teams he/she is assigned to.
Example 2: Company Sales Department
The administrator can set up a manager for each Sales Representative within his/her company. The Sales Representative, can in turn be assigned to the region/sector that he/she is responsible for. The Sales Representative can be assigned to multiple regions/sectors but can only send messages to customers within the assigned regions/sectors.
Can I monitor the use of my account?
Yes. There are various reports within the system which allow you to view messages sent in various categories i.e. By Manager, By Group etc..
Is my account only accessible from my computer?
No. Clubtext can also be access via your mobile phone. Users can send messages to groups through a WAP interface or by two way messaging. This ensures your clubtext account is portable and offers greater accessibility to the people within your organisation.
I can send free text messages from my online account through my mobile phone operator. Why should I pay to use clubtext?
The web services offered by the major mobile operators do not allow you to store and group your members/customers with the same ease and functionality as Clubtext. These services are also limited by the amount of messages that you can send in a month as well as by only being available to certain types of subscribers.
